After receiving record or near record snowfall across portions of Kansas during the last 48 hours, another round of heavy snow appears likely this coming Monday.
Some of the exact details are yet to be worked out, but both the GFS and the European computer models are coming into agreement that a swath of heavy snow is likely from northwestern Oklahoma into central Kansas. Their respective snowfall forecasts are shown below:

Both of the above images are forecasts of new snow, and do not take existing snow cover into account.
Even more ominous with this next storm is the likelihood that winds will be much, much stronger than what we saw with the last one, creating blizzard conditions in many areas.
If you live anywhere from northwest Oklahoma through Kansas, Missouri and southern Iowa, you'll definitely want to "stay tuned" for more on this one!
