Very Large Tornado North of Hill City, KS - Now in Nebraska

***Updated 3:30 PM CDT:

The original tornadic storm referenced below is now located just Northwest of Alma, NE.  Another tornadic storm has since developed just West/Northwest of Holdrege.  They are both moving North to North/Northeast at 20-25 mph.

If you live in the path of these storms, seek immediate shelter!  Very large tornadoes have been reported with this activity.

-----------------------------------Original post below:

The above image was just taken from the Hastings, NE radar.  A very large tornado (per spotter reports) continues to track Northeast, to the East of Norton, KS at this time.  This is about 33 miles North of Hill City.  The storm producing this tornado is moving Northeast at 40 mph toward the Nebraska border.

The purple polygon on the above image is the current Tornado Warning that is in effect on this storm.  If you live in Long Island, Stamford, Oxford, Alma, Orleans, Republican City Huntley or Naponee, seek immediate shelter.  This is a very large, long track tornado.  The only reason we don't have extensive damage reports is that it has yet to cross through a populated area.  That is about to change, unfortunately, as it crosses the Nebraska border.  Please don't wait this one out, take shelter immediately!

I will not be able to "live blog" this storm at this time, but will post another update as soon as possible.
